Our charity account lets you manage all your donations to charity in one place, and works just like a bank account. You receive monthly statements, and by registering for our online account portal, you will also be able to check your balance, view transactions, credit your account, order voucher books and download statements with ease.

We provide secure accounts with both our account software and online portals being encrypted and protected for your security. Established in 1986 and currently distributing over £2m on behalf of our clients to charities each year, we specialise in swift and secure distribution of donations to charities worldwide.
Charity vouchers allow you to distribute funds to charity with simplicity. Pre paid vouchers in various convenient denominations as well as voucher cheque books enable hassle free donations to charities with the full donation value passed on to the charity. New and replacement books can be ordered via email or via your online account easily.
As a UK taxpayer, we will automatically claim your Gift Aid tax relief on each donation made, giving you 25% more into your charity account for you to donate. This extra bonus maximises your giving power, and can opportunely save you almost 20% on tax-deductible expenses such as voluntary contributions to institutions and organisations.
If you are on a higher tax bracket than the basic rate, having given charitable donations through Broom Foundation will entitle you to receive extra tax relief when filing your tax returns. We will claim the initial 25% which will be added to your Broom Foundation account. The extra relief claimed on your tax return, will go straight to you.
As an employee, you can utilise the GAYE/Payroll Giving scheme to have your donation deducted from your earnings. This allows for gross donations to be made from your salary prior to calculation and deduction of income tax, leaving you to pay less tax overall, and eliminating the need for a tax return to claim higher rate tax relief. If your employer is registered on a Payroll Giving scheme, please ask them to arrange for the funds to be transferred to Broom Foundation. It’s plain sailing and hassle-free from there!
Broom Foundation provides the maximum level of service at a minimal cost to you. Administrative costs are incurred in the process, for which we take a fee. Our standard commission is 5% off your gross donation with this being reduced and rates tiered for larger donations dependent on account turnover and usage. Unlike many charity service providers, this is the only account charge payable; the charity receives the full value of your donation.
Broom Foundation is proudly associated with local projects and institutions; our current liabilities & overheads being below 2% of the total income, with surplus administration charges and a share of profits being distributed to selected local charities at periodic intervals.
Credit payments to your account via American Express and credit card are subject to an additional fee.
