Charity Frequently Asked Questions

Why should we register our charity on your system?

By registering your charity with Broom Foundation, you will speed up the payment process of any donations and voucher submissions destined for your charity.
Additionally by enrolling onto our online portal, you can have instant access to information we hold on our systems. These include the status of vouchers you have submitted for processing, the ability to view details of past payments we have made to you together with the ability to request remittance slips showing the breakdown of each payment.

We have received a Broom Foundation voucher. What do we need to do?

Please send the voucher/s together with full charity particulars, i.e. name, address, reg. charity number and contact/email details together with your bank details.
Upon processing, provided you have supplied us with a contact email or fax number, you will receive an automatic remittance showing the full details of the payment being made. You will receive the full face value of the voucher.
All voucher payments are made on the understanding that they are donations for charitable purposes only and not as a payment for goods or services supplied.

When can we expect to receive a payment from Broom Foundation

We attempt to process all vouchers submitted within 36 hours of receipt. Upon processing, provided you have supplied us with a contact email or fax number, you will receive an automatic remittance showing the full details of the payment being made. We make our payments to charities several times a week. We make payments by BACS wherever possible as this is the swiftest, most efficient and secure way of sending funds.
Please assist us by providing verified bank details and contact email, updating these whenever necessary.

Can we find out the details of the donors?

Provided they do not wish to remain anonymous we can pass on certain information we hold about the donor.

Can we claim Gift Aid on Broom Foundation vouchers received?

Gift Aid cannot be claimed on Broom Foundation vouchers as we will already have claimed this on the donor’s behalf.

Do you charge to process vouchers?

All commission charges are taken from our clients. Your charity will receive the full value of the intended donation.
